Okkotsu Yuta is a prominent character in the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. He initially appears as the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, a prequel to the main series.
Initially portrayed as a timid and isolated high school student, Yuta is haunted by the cursed spirit of Rika Orimoto, his childhood friend who died in a tragic accident. This curse makes him an immensely powerful, albeit reluctant, Jujutsu sorcerer.
Under the guidance of Satoru Gojo at Tokyo Jujutsu High, Yuta learns to control Rika's power and develop his own Jujutsu techniques. He possesses immense cursed energy and abilities, which later make him a valuable asset to the Jujutsu world.
